In response to such discrepancies, Dr. Arno Peters created an equal area map, a new world map that dramatically improves the accuracy of how we see the Earth.

This map is ready for dry mounting by your local frame shop.

Since it is fragile and creases easily, we do not recommend using it if you are not planning on having it mounted or framed. NOTE: No matter how meticulously we package this product, the ends of the map may sustain some slight crushing in transit. Your local framing shop should be able to smooth this out.
