Pacific-centered Peters Equal Area Map

This new map brings your visual focus onto the oceans instead of the land and "feels" quite different from the Africa-centered Peters Map. This map will challenge students to think about the world, and USA-centrism, in a whole new way, providing an entree into many topics of discussion. This Pacific-centered version is color-coded as a "physical relief" map showing mountain ranges, different types of terrain, etc.

The new low price of $9.95 for the paper/folded version makes this Peters wall map very affordable, and the mid-size fills a particular need of people who don't a have a full wall to devote to the larger 3' x 4' map. Folded, the map is only 4" x 9.5" making it handy to file and store.

Paper/folded - 20.5'' x 32''- Price: $9.95

This explanation provides a balanced interpretation of the map, particularly useful for teachers and home-schoolers. NOTE: The laminated version without tube ($19.95) does not include the explanatory panel and resource panel.
